About the Sustainable Schools Programme
The Sustainable Schools Programme, developed by Nature Connect, is South Africa's leading initiative for embedding sustainability into education. We bridge the gaps in Environmental Education and Education for Sustainable Development by equipping teachers with curriculum-aligned resources, personalised coaching, and professional development.
Through our dynamic online hub, teachers from Grades R–12 can access a host of ready-to-use curriculum-aligned resources and participate in a challenge-based journey where progress is tracked and celebrated.

With over two decades of experience, Nature Connect is a Not-for-Profit, Public Benefit Organisation empowering young people through immersive environmental education and skills development to build a more sustainable future whilst protecting natural habitats in urban environments and connecting people to nature.
