Introduce learners to the concepts of Species Richness and Diversity through area-specific investigations using the Educator Guide and worksheets provided.

Prior Knowledge: A basic understanding of species classification

Key Concepts & Skills: Explore concepts of species richness, species diversity, biodiversity, ecosystems using skills including interrogative questioning, curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, reasoning, communication

Extra Notes: Make sure to choose worksheets based on the locality of your school or eco-club to aid impact and understanding. Worksheets are based on South African examples.
