Creative approaches to science education workshop

November 23 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

This workshop, certified by The Centre for Creative Education (CCE), is directed towards education practitioners who work with children in schools, communities and extra-curricula contexts. The workshop aims to equip participants to connect their existing educational focus and practice with contextually rich environmental knowledge and teaching approaches. Using dialogical, enquiry and arts-based approaches, this course builds capacities in working with children in relation to complex socio-ecological realities in ways that are connected to the curriculum.

This course aims to bring together educators from a range of formal and non-formal contexts such as community based projects, museums, and environmental education programs to build a community of practice and connect these diverse knowledge areas towards meaningful education with children.
