1. Observing and then educating the children on the variety of species of birds, insects, moluscs and reptiles on our campus.2. Planting flowers and herbs in the sensory garden to encourage exploration. 3. Continue with revegetating banks to prevent soil erosion and bring biodiversity back to the area. |

Enviro Calendar Days:World Bee Day, Save the Frogs Day, Bird Migration Day, World Environment Day Lessons: Snail study, Insect walk, Make bee drinking stations, Bird ringing observation at school. 1.Donate 140 items of clothing over the course of the year to the Bux farm community 1. Prizes for the class with the biggest collection of waste products (Term 1: Cans, Term 2: TetraPak Cartons, Term 3: Glass, Term 4: Plastic soda and 2l milk bottles) |

1. Use fallen branches and cut branches and turn them into compost and mulch to re-use within the environment. 2. Continue to use worm wee to supplement the water used for the gardens to promote healthy soil and growth 3. Upgrade the recycling centre and open the school to the community as a recycling drop off point. |
1.No purchasing of compost or potting soil for the Eco-Clubs potting and planting activities. All compost generated on the school property 2.Keep the wormery well stocked with food scraps to ensure worms keep producing worm wee for us to heavest 3.Raise funds to upgrade the recycling centre and keep community updated about the recycling centre via Whatsapp. Make the recycling centre more user friendly and open it on one day during the weekend. |

1.Ensure that municipal water is never used unless it is absolutely necessary. 2.Lower our Ethekweni Bill and teach children the value of rain water collection. |

Enviro Day: World Water Day: 1.Use the water tanks to irrigate all the gardens during Eco Club lessons and by our Estate Manager 2.During our “Water Theme” we switch off the municipal water supply completely and the children think of ideas of how they can collect rain water and how they can use grey water |
