KZN Highlight: Nkabini Primary’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Blooms

The learners from Nkabini Primary School in KwaZulu-Natal, one of the newly enrolled schools in our programme, rolled up their sleeves and took part in a vibrant, hands-on entrepreneurial activity: selling vegetables grown in their very own school garden.

This exciting initiative was about more than just earning money — it was carefully designed to equip learners with practical business and financial skills, while also nurturing self-reliance and emphasising the importance of sustainable agriculture. The project fostered a spirit of teamwork, responsibility, and innovation, leaving both learners and educators inspired by the powerful blend of education and enterprise.
