Celebrating Arbor Week: Joining the “One Million Trees” Campaign🌳

This year’s Arbor Week and Arbor Month celebrations have once again shown the power of collective action! A huge congratulations to all the schools that took part in the One Million Trees planting initiative — helping to grow greener, healthier communities across South Africa.

Through your efforts, learners, teachers, and community members came together to plant indigenous trees that not only beautify school grounds but also support local biodiversity, improve air quality, and provide shade and shelter. Each tree planted is a meaningful act of care — a living symbol of hope and environmental responsibility.

A special well done to the following schools for their commitment and enthusiasm:
Leubaneng Primary School, Rabasotho Primary School, Sebiloane Primary School, Kitty Primary School, Kgatelopele Primary School, Lekwa Secondary School, Dumazi Primary School, Chumana Priamry School, Matlou Memorial Primary School,Luxemburg Primary School and Bel Porto School.

By joining the campaign, these schools are helping South Africa move closer to its national goal of planting one million trees, while inspiring young people to take pride in protecting and restoring our natural environment.

Together, we’re not just planting trees — we’re planting a legacy. One that will grow stronger with every new leaf and every new learner who joins the movement.
