Gauteng Highlight: Dalpark Primary School explores the Wonders of Wetlands
Dalpark Primary School Grade 6 students visited the Blesbokspruit Wetland Reserve to learn about wetland ecosystems and climate action. They explored the diverse species, ecological functions, and threats to wetlands. They also conducted a Mini-SASS activity to identify freshwater invertebrates and assessed the water quality. The learners also gave a presentation on the negative impacts of water hyacinth and other alien invasive species that affect the health and quality of wetlands.
