Activity Introduction

BirdlifeSA’s Bird of the Year 2025 is the Red-billed Oxpecker – this lesson is the tenth in the Bird of the Year 2025 lesson series. In this lesson, learners along with the school community will plan a campaign to raise awareness and funds to support the conservation of the Red-billed Oxpecker in their surrounding environment or community.

Grade: 4-7

Resources Required: Downloaded (and printed if preferred) Lesson Plan document and Poster. Resource for campaign depending on what kind of campaign is planned.
