BirdlifeSA’s Bird of the Year 2025 is the Red-billed Oxpecker – this lesson is the eighth in the Bird of the Year 2025 lesson series. This lesson explores the importance of considering bird diets while learning about the threats that affect the Red-billed Oxpecker such as agrochemicals.

Grade: 4-7

Resources Required: Downloaded (and printed if preferred) Lesson Plan document and Poster. Optional: Colour papers and pencil crayons to develop a menu.
