English HL Animal Welfare Comprehension – Grade 6 Term 3

Activity Introduction

This is an assessment that can be used for an informal test focused on introducing additional cross-curriculum topics to create a better foundation for the learners on the ESD-aligned topic “Community and Social Responsibility” focusing on animal welfare.

Grade: 6

Resources Required: Assessment Printouts and Memorandums for each learner (downloadable below)

Extra Notes: Learners can complete the comprehension and Visual Text test in class or at home. The task can also be a peer evaluation task where learners mark each other’s work.
