Activity Introduction

In this activity explore how an increase in greenhouse gases is resulting in a warming planet through conducting one or both experiments.

Grade: 8-10

Resources Required: Experiment 1: two large jars with lids, two thermometers, box of bicarbonate of soda, roll of toilet paper, one cup of vinegar, record sheet. Experiment 2: four large jars with lids, four thermometers, box of bicarbonate of soda, roll of toilet paper, two cups of vinegar, soil, small pot plant, cold water, warm water
