Activity Introduction

Learn all about microplastics and their prevalence in everyday products in this investigative lesson. Learners will get to research eco-friendly alternatives to products containing hidden microplastics.

Grade: 7-9

Resources Required: Variety of items that contain microplastics (see Lesson Plan for list), internet access (optional, for research purposes)

Duration: 1 x 30 minute research lesson, 1 x 1 hour presentation preparation
