Activity Introduction

Why are pangolins a unique part of Africa’s heritage? The Pangolin Guardian Education Programme covers this and more! Explore the Programme’s interactive module that blends multimedia learning with classroom resources, uncovering the characteristics of African pangolins and why they must be protected.

Grade: Ages 8 +

Resources Required: Screen, projector or monitor that can play a short introduction video. Devices with internet connection to complete the online course. If your school or eco-club receives the full Education Pack you will need to download and print the teaching notes, quizzes, and certificates provided as well as provide colouring pencils for learners to complete the activity sheets.

Key Concepts & Skills: Knowledge retention and critical thinking skills are developed with the use of quizzes. Key concepts like wildlife awareness, conservation and African heritage are also covered.

Extra Notes: Fill out the application form below to receive an Education Pack for your class or club. The physical Pack includes printed copies of teachers notes, quiz and memo, an FAQ sheet, a Pangolin poster to hang in the classroom as well as Pangolin Guardian certificates for each child who completes the Programme. A USB is also included, containing digital versions of the print-outs so the Programme can be used again at any time!
