Activity Introduction

Use this interactive lesson to explore the concept of catchments and the environmental and human impacts on catchment water flow. The lesson includes a practical experiment (best done outside), and discussion points for engaging learners.

Grade: 7-9

Resources Required: Printed Learner Worksheets, Experiment materials (Plastic containers, a small bowl, different types of soil, wood chips, leaves, rocks, water, blocks of varying sizes)
