Limpopo Highlight: Leubaneng Primary Shines in Provincial Water Awareness Competition

Congratulations are in order! Phenyo Makombela, a talented learner from Leubaneng Primary School, who has proudly brought home 1st place in the Limpopo Provincial Adjudication of the Department of Water and Sanitation’s Baswa Le Meetse Project in the Praise Poetry category! 

Her poem celebrates water’s life-giving power and raises awareness about sanitation, conservation, and environmental dignity. Through vivid imagery and cultural expression, the poem highlights water’s role in food, hygiene, climate resilience, and community well-being.
