Produce/grow vegetables on the school property. Teaching learners to sustain their families by doing their own vegetable garden.

Teaching learners to become independent and sustain their own families in this time of economic difficulty Garden was weeded and vegetables planted Next to the workshop. A strip of land 25 metres long and 2,5 metres wide Clean up all rubble and weeds from the planting area. Prepare the soil. Plant seeds. Tomato and onion seeds first planted in containers until ready to be moved to planting area. Gloves, protective eye goggles, garden tools (small spades, forks and a rake). Recylcing plastic bottles, bottle caps and white paper. To keep the environment clean and support local community by donating the bottles to David to recycle. Bottle tops are donated to the Selcourt Methodist Church for sponsoring a wheel chair per kg bottle tops
