1. To further develop the permaculture gardens by not only planting vegetables but continuing with adding to our fruit forest trees under a monkey proof tunnel;
2. Composting material from the children’s lunchboxes – eg peels, cores, egg shells …
3. Raising awareness and knowledge about our lovely indigenous gardens.
4. Interactive quiz on Portulacaria afra – Spekboom awareness for Grade 6 in media centre using various media.
5. Introduce a worm farm to enhance the fertility of the soil for our vegetable garden and fruit forest.

1. We aim to have the fruit forest tunnel completed this year with repurposed materials where possible with assistance from Mr Saunders, our school groundsman. We aim to add more trees to the fruit forest – we currently have 2 orange trees – Navel & Valencia; one avocado, one banana. We have 5 lemon tree saplings in pots to be transplanted. We would like 2 Macadamia trees; a Mango and a Litchi tree. within the school Tree fertilizer Eco-Team 30.11.23
