AGM 2017

The CTEET Annual General Meeting was held on 17 October at the Steenberg Golf Club. The event was used as an opportunity to highlight the successes and work of the past year, involving partners, donors and staff members. We would like to thank everyone who made the effort to attend the event to celebrate another exciting year with CTEET.

One of the Conservation Leadership Programme learners, Raulston, shared his story with the group, explaining how he is able to impart his love for nature to his friends and fellow learners. His life really has been changed through nature!

The highlight of the evening was guest speaker Dr Ian McCallum, renowned and inspirational conservationist. He congratulated CTEET on the work we are doing for conservation, saying “if our fight is to speak for the voiceless and to protect wild animals, we are wasting our time unless we can protect the land. When we lose the land we can never ever buy it back.”

CTEET was proud to be featured in the Constantiaberg Bulletin after the event, with the article covering the AGM as well as some of our projects. You can read the article here.
